Best Hotel Walking Distance To Disneyland

May 29, 2019

A few weeks ago we had the most magical stay at a Disneyland Good Neighbor hotel: Courtyard Anaheim Theme Park Entrance. Thank you so much for hosting us and making our vacation unforgettable. They just won the 2018 Hotel of the Year for ALL (GLOBALLY) Courtyards!

LOCATION
South Harbor Boulevard in Anaheim. It only took us nine minutes to walk to the entrance of the Disneyland parks!! We even waited at a light that didn't work had to wait for the red light to cross to the parks. We were so impressed! There was no line at security when we arrived.

We stayed in a 2 queen & bunk guest room with a water park view which included a balcony. We absolutely loved how big the rooms were! They can sleep up to six people!

Twin bunk bed:
They are included in EVERY room! Our toddler Henry said it was the best hotel ever! He slept in the top bunk the first night and the bottom bunk the second. I love how safe they were and there was no way he would roll off.

Seating Nook:
We loved being able to sit here with our toddler and have breakfast there. Courtyard Anaheim' s team was so sweet to include treats for us and their surf side stuffed whale. Henry still sleeps with it every night.

More features:
Our room had a balcony with a view of the water park and Disneyland.
A flat screen TV with access to our favorite shows (Disney channel for our toddler) & Netflix
Mini Refrigerator
Microwave
Kuerig Coffee machine

Fireworks:
Before a late dinner we enjoyed the Disneyland fireworks outside on the terrace. It was so magical.

Boutique Gift shop:
Cutest Disney souvenirs, snacks, pharmaceutical products, and drinks. This store gave away our Disneyland surprise to our toddler. He walked in and said "Are we going to Disneyland too?" haha too cute!

Portable cribs:
They provide pack and play cribs and it was amazing not having to pack one!

Views:
You can see the Matterhorn from our room! Our toddler still didn't know we were going to Disneyland that morning. He saw the mountain and said " I want to go there for our adventure today!"

Large family restrooms:
All rooms include two showers. With a shower/tub combination & a stand alone shower
Dual sink bathroom vanity with a lighted mirror

Surfside Waterpark:
As soon as we arrived that first night we headed to the water park. We loved the slides for the little ones, the kiddie pool and then finished our night in the heated pool.
If you have older kids it includes the 'tube' from thirty feet up on the 'Trestles' and 'Rincon; which are two thrilling slides.

The Bistro:
Before beginning our Disneyland day we headed here for a quick breakfast. They serve Starbucks which was amazing! We all grabbed a bagel and cream cheese and walked to Disneyland.
The night before we had dinner here too and it was delicious!

Our delicious dinner!

Terrace:
We watched the fireworks here the first night while sitting by the fire.

Fitness Center:
The Our LIFE FITNESS center is open 24 hours a day to keep up your fitness goals away from home.

Boarding Pass:
Their business center offers 3 i Macs and the ability to print

The Lobby/front desk:
I loved the beach theme and decorations. Every employee at the Courtyard Anaheim went above and beyond. They have the best customer service!

Our experience:
It was our first time staying at a Disneyland good neighbor hotel and wow! We were so impressed. Courtyard Anaheim Theme Park Entrance is the best hotel and being able to walk to Disneyland was the best bonus. Our room was spacious, clean and I was obsessed with the ocean image on our wall. The beds were so comfortable that we slept in until 8:30 the day after Disneyland. We will be coming back to his hotel for years to come. Thank you for having us!

We're headed to Disneyland in September and this is one of the hotels we were looking at. Those bunk beds may just have sealed the deal for us!
